Doubt.
All the pros of a Nodachi without as many penalties.
Yes, topper is best.
I personally would also say that the long cleaver is the best hacker. Simple due to the superior range alone.
Blunt: I'd chose between heavy jitte and spiked club.
Polearm: I personally like the heavy polearm. But the the regular polearm is pretty good too.
You're right, generally speaking long cleaver is better.
polearm is probably the best polearm, simply because strength is the easier stat to train.
heavy polearm has slightly higher raw numbers, but with fewer bonuses, and is more reliant on dexterity for damage output.
Naginata Katana does more damage overall.
barely. and it comes with those nasty penalties against armor and robots. hard pass on that.
polearm and heavy polearm armor penetration bonus put them in a league above the naginata and two leagues above the naginata katana.
Heavy Polearm is better with that armor penetration.
heavy polearm i can live with. i still say the polearm polearm is better. you have to take into account that those numbers interact with a players stats to determine damage. since strength is so easy to train, it will usually be higher than dexterity. so blunt damage is usually going to be higher than cutting damage at the same weapon stat level.
but if all stats are equal, the heavy is better, so i'm fine with it being up there.
