Slaver Boss not dropping bought slave
So I got this bug in this town and the slave trader won't drop the slave that he bought from me. However it shows the slave inside the pen he still is stuck in the pickup slave animation and just stands there. When you try and buy that slave from him, the slave automatically appears in his hands and he won't drop them ever. This is a pickle.

Won't reset at all after reloading save.

How this started I think is he picked up my slave and ran into his counter and got stuck and then he just stood there. upon re loading this save he quickly went behind the counter but stuck in the holding animation.

Now the oddest thing is I can buy other slaves. Just not that one. Does he love her? I don't know. Odd behaviour.

Yeah this is a real pain in the neck, if you have another person over your arm and try to sell them you can get infinit money from him becuase he can't pick him up, I do hope this gets fixed.

So far this has only happened in Stoat.

Just import your save. Should resolve your issue :) Some things to note. When you import your save, everything will be reset to day 1. Your base, squad items and chests will all be there, even your squad positions. You will still have your correct day counter, but the whole world will be reset to day 1. This will resolve your issue.

To import save, just start up kenshi, and right there on the main menu is import option, slect it, then select the save you want to import and voila. You can also edit sliders and options if you found your previous playthrough too hard/too easy so now is a good opportunity to tweak your world.

You won't lose anything in your base inventory or squad, so rest assured on that front.

One thing to note. I was collecting potential slaves in my base and locking them in a house on beds (saves on bandages as beds autoheal) because I was hoping my slave trader would unbug after a few days, but when I imported my save, all my potential slaves (mostly starving vagabons) were gone :( so if it has nothing to do with your squad or base. It will probably be gone/reset.

I imported my save and my squad no longer had any captives to sell, they disappeared.

that is normal.. all NPCs not of your faction are reset on import.. including those in prison cages and carried by you..
