Thick black border around edge of screen?
So I have "Full screen" checked in settings and the resolution to 1920x1080 but there's still a thick border around my screen and the resolution looks low. I tabbed shifted to open up the forums while in game and everything is more washed out and blurry than normal. What's going on here?

If you alt tab out of the game it fixes it. I had this problem yesterday. It fixed the resolution but the UI was off center. Restarting fixed that. I do have to do that every time I load the game but so far the UI issue doesnt stick after alt tab but it does fix the resolution issue.

I alt tabbed and it fixed the resolution like you said but quitting and resterting didn't fix the UI unfortunately :(
I know it's and EA game but resolution and UI shouldn't be a problem *cries*

Ive noticed that doing alt tab at the menu screen fixes the resolution and the UI is fine in game. Did you alt tab in game? maybe try at the menu screen and see how it works in game. I now have to fix black grass lol.

Oh ok. I'll try to do it in the menu next time I play.

I would uncheck fullscreen and switch to boarderless window and then restart the game. That's the only way I can get it to look right on my box and now it looks good every time I start the game.

You have the same problem I do when you use fullscreen?

This has been an issue for me for ages. Yeah I can alt tab. But I've been having to do this for months.

Alt-tabbing switches the game to borderless windowed instead of exclusive fullscreen for that session, which is NOT a solution for people that need to reduce input lag & improve framerate by running exclusive fullscreen.

+1
Can we have a true fullscreen mode @1080p (not the forced lower resolution that we have now)?
The screen tearing of the window mode is atrocious and the performance are not good.

(vsync on/off doesn't work in window mode)
