I think for most ancient/ruins it's normally set for red the guards in that place attack anyone, because you technically are stealing from them/trespassing
No worries about posts I'm sure people don't mind questions, especially if you enjoy the game as much as everyone else.
If you already got the weaons there is nothing else there that really matters.
I use the red map markers as indicators of where I have been. Not all of them have had enemies in them and they still flip red. I consider them explored at that point.
