Ofc there would have to be balancing but having nothing for a certain fighting style is a bit weird.
Gives a different bonus of adding cutting & bleeding damage to unarmed attacks instead.
Could call it Bladed Bindings, very underground kickboxing bloodsport-esque
One way to work around that would be to make a strength increasing binding. But that might be a bit too powerful, since Str is also tied to other stuff.
I suppose you already tried to increase the MA stats on the item ?
Anyway, many if, but that's an idea.
edit : you can't increase "raw" stats like strength apparently. Derp.
While this game isn't supposed to be very quest heavy, instead of meele weapons for unarmed characters, getting cozy with a faction should net you a specific and prehaps exclusive meele techniquem, different from the ones your characters can due as they level up.
For the most part its what you would expect, damage multipliers except for blleed pierece and robot damage are all set to 1.
Interestingly though "0Fists-robo" which im assuming is the "weapon" Skeletons use while praticing MA is better than regular "FISTS" Bleed, cut and robot damage all have higher multipliers.
Also fists are made out of wood.
I cant for the life of me find anything in the FCS that confirms ingame descriptions or MA damage calculations. In fact no weapons have any damage subtype or reference that indicates it looks at user stats. So im guessing that these things are (for now) hardcoded and not viewable with the FCS.
On a side note, you don't need them for MA, per say. At some point, you will even stop taking damage from hitting someone armor. But you need quite a bit of MA.
Nearby Eyesocket (right above the unavailable 1/4th of the map, East of Grey Desert, in the areas called The Eye and Stormgap Coast) there are a faction called "Grass Pirates" roaming around in groups. They wear MA bindings and Sleeveless Dustcoats.
Be wary because they are aggressive and their stats are around ~20.
