Super dumb question: If you make an online save, does it save to a folder or to an online server of some kind? Asking because my friend and i are playing on offline through remote play, but their internet is ass and the lag is atrocious, so i was hoping there was some kind of way to move an offline save into online through some shenanigans and i just buy the game.

The save file should be on the host's computer and as far as I know, it can just be used in online without any problem I think.
