Chucky seems to be the top table where you can find tricks and have control of the ball. The Thing is hard and I haven't found any tricks to control the ball.
Other than that, I think I will purchase the other tables to mess around with. I don't want to burn out on the ones I am playing now.
The other two seem like a slower pace from the demos.
The one thing throwing me off on the Daylight demo is that little flipper in the middle of the table. They made it such a main thing that you always have to use it.
See what happens when I own the full version.
If classic or arcade mode will be your primary experience, I'm not entirely sure but would lean towards the Duke Nukem table. It does have some FPS segments you work with the flippers, so be warned if you're a purist, but overall, I think it's fun and not too punishing with drains.
I'm thinking Chucky and DbD would be the tactical tables. I'm reading a lot of positives about Chucky and just haven't played it as much yet. I will!
The Thing is both fun and tactical. Currently my favorite that I have the most time into alongside Duke Nukem, but that's on the condition of challenges I mentioned above. It's got a learning curve of getting every flip to count and be safe if you don't want to lose the ball quickly. When you're not as worried about that or you get good from all of the practice challenge modes inherently offer, it's a blast. I am highly biased, though. The Thing is one of the best horror movies ever.
I have not bought Dead by Daylight and Duke Nukem.
Some PinballFX tables are also coming out soon...and I also want to buy those, so I want to limit myself to only 1 :)
I dunno, roll a d4 or something.
I find the callouts for the DBD table very good. The tone, the voice and the delivery are really on point. One of the highlights of the table for me.
Some sadistic math teacher yeah
Sure, the tables usually tell you what to shoot for, but I don't see much happening. The other tables seem to have more cinematic when you activate something. Maybe I just haven't got that far yet.
