But ill go The Thing , Duke Nukem, Chucky, Dead by Daylight, Wrath of the Elder Gods.
Might be bias to The Thing as such a fan of the film i could watch that film over and over EVEN though i know what is going to happen.
If anyone is playing the table and has never watched it , get and watch it now, its a classic.
My cabinet account is urkz1945.
2.) Thing- Maybe a smidge too hard but also spot on theme integration and fun shots. Annoying that the left orbit guide dumps the ball down the middle as does leaving the Rec Room and target based modes never feel great, but it has a lot of charm and cool modes to make up for that.
3.) Dead by Daylight- Great but has a few showstopping bugs. Probably the best balance of fun and challenge. Never felt too hard or too easy and great implementation of the game mechanics if you play real DBD. Nothing exception callout or art wise, but still fun and probably the most replayable.
4.) Wrath of the Elder Gods- Better than the PinballFX version, but still not spectacular. Modes are okay. I still hate the weird physics change on the purple possessed balls, and the wizard mode is still awful but marginally less awful than on PFX.
5.) Duke Nukem- Possibly the worst designed table out of Zen ever. Heartbreaking because it's a dream theme for me. Fun enough on first play, but once you start trying to play it seriously almost every component of the table breaks down into an unfun, unfair slog. Getting multiball is either random or arduous. Getting weapons is RNG followed by RNG followed by punishment and you have to shoot the same shot dozens of times to start a mode that might give you a chance for a hurryup to a brutal shot that costs you your ball only to repeat. The primary multiball is the same way. I don't understand how anyone who plays pinball could have tested this and not come away feeling that it is fundamentally the worst designed table of the set.
(1) Chucky!
The game feels polished and just fun to play. The voices are great and I love Tiffany. Who doesn't like a good campy movie with Jennifer Tilly.
(2) Wrath of the Elder Gods!
A good table for free like the Sorcerer's Lair.
(3) The Thing!
Should be my #1 table and I do play it more than the others.
(p.s.)
The Thing is hurting for a magnetic ball save or something. You get everything rolling and then it feels like someone pulls the plug out of the wall.
