Thank you for your v prompt response. I shall look forward to this new game and wish you the best of luck with it. Hopefully it will be a fresh start.
P.s. on point 2 i was indeed referring to the news section in FX (this is essentially an ad for Zen tables) . This is quite intrusive imho so an option to hide this for people who have spent money on tables would be appreciated thank you. The key thing for me is to let players have the experience that works best for them. Personally I'd like the experience to be as clean as possible, with options to hide features that i am not interested in such as collectables and leagues (though i think it's great these things are in the game for the people who enjoy them).
In my opinion, don't even worry too much about actual franchises if that increases costs and risks to a point where the whole product might become too costly.
I would just as much appreciate tables with lovingly inspired topics, such as:
DRIVE IN HORROR
80s SLASHERS
50s ATOMIC MONSTERS
60s VAMPIRES
GIALLO
ITALO ZOMBIES
GELATINOUS BLOBS
ALIEN INVADERS
CANNIBALS
ANIMALS ATTACK - ECO HORROR
SILVER AGE COMIC HORROR
TORTURE PORN
KWAIDAN
HORROR HOSTS
MONSTER KIDS MEMORIES
HALLOWEEN PARTY
CABIN IN THE FOREST
I know that real franchises are appealing, but as we have seen in the past, the prices can increase significantly and the rights might be lost at some point.

Well, Just to name a few….the possibilities are near endless…
Thank you for thinking outside the box. Can't wait for this, please do some tables based on the Scream movies and Chainsaw Massacre. Those would be perfect as pinball tables.
On YT: 'Joseph LoDuca & Danny Elfman - Evil Dead 3: Army Of Darkness Theme - [Rearranged by Gilles Nuytens]'
Another table for the bittersweet 'The Return of the Living Dead' with the fantastic 'The Trioxin Theme'.
Check it out on YT under 'Francis Haines: The Return of the Living Dead - The Trioxin Theme [FULL Version by Gilles Nuytens]'
And if we're already by the topic dark horror comedies. A table to the classic 'Critters' would be great as well and it's excellent main theme.
On YT: 'David Newman & John Vigran - Critters - Critter Skitter [RE-Extended & Remastered by Gilles Nuytens]'
No.
For some unexplained reason, and despite many requests, we still have to "Press any button to continue".
On my old SSD-equipped potato, loading times are as long as PFX. Tables seem to load a bit more slowly.
But, it's well worth a download. There are a lot of great new features. And it's less than 5GB (for now).
Haha, yep i was really hoping they'd get rid of that. I guess there must be some reason for them to want to keep it but not sure what that is.
Overall though I thought the demo was pretty positive, once you get past the loading and tutorial anyhow.
Much prefer the table backgrounds in M (even if 'the playground' name sounds a bit naff) to the horribly sterile shelfy plinthy room in FX. Though iirc i wasn't able to click on the 'Home' screen so i wonder what that will look like and whether they're going to stick have an annoying and unhideable 'News'/ads banner in the corner. Thought the table select screen in M looked better than in Fx too but i guess it might have to change as the number of tables grows.
When Farsight changed the UI to the current console versions (now deprecated on the PC/mobile versions), they were up to 20 tables. Star Trek TNG was the latest release when that took place.
This might be the same case for M, but that UI change probably won't be for a few years at least. I imagine top priority remains Pinball FX, with a new M table roughly every quarter. That's my best guess.
I also hope they won't spend too much time on Pinball M. I'll probably get those tables, but, meh.
The horror-themed UI is also meh.
They should have just changed Pinball FX rating from E to M, and not bother with the Pinball M client altogether. Stupid ESBR ratings that nobody care about...
