Why can't I?

Tackle - 80% of the time my guys just do nothing or completely miss a tackle - 90% of the time I land a tackle and it's clear holding the ball, nothing is called.

Change to the correct player - It's like i'm fighting to change to the correct player and takes me 3-4 times before I get remotely close to the person I want.

Ruck - Feels like on medium 50% of the time I can ruck 50% it just gives me nothing, on hard and hardest it's almost impossible.

quick kick for goal - This goes for all animations in general - there is a massive delay in the input once taking possession and trying to get rid of it, yet the opposing teams pick it up and instantly hand ball it off.

quick kick for pass - Much like hand balling, trying to move quick will result in the ball not even making the distance and going into the middle of no where, likely to advantage of opposing team - animation delay is incredibly slow - ever try running off the mark and having a few metres on the player standing on the mark, only to be tackled befoe your animation finishes droping the ball for a kick and it being ball up? Happens way too often

quick hand ball - have found a double tap of X does it but half the time it doesn't work and if it does come off it's likely not going into the hands of my player or atleast the player I want.

What am I doing wrong with these situations? Any help is appreciated
