Game hangs on loading screens

I've been trying to keep an open mind with this game, it's steadily improving and it's great to be getting updates that seem to be making a slight difference each time. But my god, I'm getting incredibly frustrated that I can't start the game more than a handful of times before it fails to get past one of the loading screens -- typically the AFL logo or the acknowledgement of country. Each time it happens, I have to force restart my PC, because it's otherwise completely unresponsive; the whole system hangs. And from that moment, the game doesn't start again. I have to uninstall, redownload the game's 70GB, and reinstall. I'm about to do it again for what must be the fifth time since the game was released. And yes, I've tried verifying the game files and clearing the download cache.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, hangs for me on first launch for 30 seconds.... black screen. Fix it big ant

: ( issue i'm having for about 4-6 days is in career/manager mode after finishing a game I cant get to the next game. I'm stuck on the end of match/full time screen. I can switch between stats/rating etc on that screen, but just cant move on to the next screen. I've had to shut game down and when i go back into my manager mode do that game again. I just simulate it and move on which is sooo crappy.

It's hanging for nearly a minute now on a black screen before the intro, ffs.
