G-Virus ?!
I've played this game a couple of times and this is the 1st time one of my teammates contacted the G-Virus...He was bitten by a zombie eariler and I've kept him alive since...Does G-Virus means random transformation into a zombie ?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone that is bitten by a zombie catches the G-Virus and is "infected" Now... Your character's health is purple and depletes over time like if your character has the measles or the flu; potentially ending your character's life like a real infectious zombie bite. However, from personal experiences it is possible that your character can survive from the infection over time. However, they're still initially infected and is at risk of becoming a zombie once their health drops too low. I'm playing on endless right now and one of my members went through this. There is an achievement called "make the call" which you earn if you shoot the infected member once they have passed out. So... I assume the member of your party will pass out once their health reaches to a critical level and if you don't kill them they will raise and potentially do harm to other party members- maybe. I'm not sure :) I for one am just going to kill the poor bastard once I can't upkeep him, but so far I need to keep him alive for the endless score (you get more points for traveling miles with extra party members)

I had members bitten by zombies before but what I wanna know is whether the G-Virus is a non recoverable illness (unlike Flu, Dysentery) or is it recoverable ?

Just had a character recover from the g-virus. He was bitten by a zombie, caught the g-virus, then recovered from the g-virus but still shows he's infected to be come a zombie if his health gets low. (green skull next to his health). I was resting until his health got back to 100% and he magically recovered

G-Virus is just another disease. dont' worry too much about it, what happens when someone gets low on HP is that they basically get weaker, not effecting anything in game. at 0% they pass out and are "incapacitated" if this happens while someone is infected, they have a chance to turn into a zombie every hour. G-virus has no real distinct thing associated from it as I remember.

Just a random virus, there are others like the T-Virus.

The G- and T- Virus, are just there as homage to other zombie games, i.e. Resident Evil. Like many other easter eggs. The only particular "game changing" easter egg in the game really is Chuck Norris. If you don't know what I mean, do yourself a favor and name ALL of your party Chuck Norris. Trust me. Best. Road trip. EVER!
