EDIT: Okay, what you're saying makes sense, but it's only because that's what you believe. You're techincally correct, but coming back to the redudantness with using both tags.....yeah.
Or you could open source it and realize you're lucky to have fans that enjoy your art at all. (Speaking as a life long writer who charges nothing for his work.)

Local-only multiplayer games use the Local Co-op tag (e.g. TowerFall Ascension, STARWHAL, Crawl, Gang Beasts) to avoid implying Online multiplayer elements where none exist.
It looks like this game is still listed under the Co-op tag.
I understand that steams tags are confusing and do not include a good description. The Co-op tag is intended to be used exclusively for games with multiplayer modes that include networking components.
