Oh course not! In some ways it's much harder!

Although at first glance this game seems silly and completely out of control stupid, there are actually a few hidden benefits to it!

Studies have shown that REAL Surgeons who played video games as kids did 74% better in surgical tests then their peers who did not.
This game really tests your brains ability to adapt and improve your hand/eye coordination. Many medical procedures today are done using robotic controls.

As whacked and out of control this game is to run, you CAN become very smooth and accurate with it over time. This is your brain's ability to learn and adapt to external control stimuli and become more and more accurate and controlled.

Sure you won't become a brain surgeon playing this game, but you might develop your own brain's motor and coordination skills that are actually useful in a real surgeon's duty.

It's also similar how someone's brain adapts to losing a limb and re-learning how to use a prosthetic limb.

So, there are actual mental benefits to playing this game besides being fun.
You are also supporting other indie game makers who have a dream and passion for making games. So feel good.

I've actually sat behind da Vinci surgical robot once during college years and OP is exactly right: this game simulates that feeling of disconnection from your muscle sense and challenges eye coordination in much the same way (curse you depth perception).
