I heard that this achievement might have been patched. If that's the case then how do I unlock it? I've cut out the gobbleshaft and thrown it away (same for the replacement gobbleshaft) multiple times and it still hasn't unlocked.

simply cutting i out should be enough
are you starting through the clipboard or the VHS tape? didn't work for me the first time when i went through the clipboard but did when i used the tape (honestly not sure why that would be an issue but you never know)

the two stars at the end of the top row - has both alien surgery and TF2 in there for easy access think you need to unlock them using the tape the first time though but after that you can just go click on 'em there (same for the space ones once you've used the floppy disc)
