did eventually manage it though and in the process i managed to figure out a few useful thing
if you're having trouble with cutting the eyes when they're flopping around - ignore the goggles untill you have the eyes cut out - just take something pointy and stab it at the front of the goggles towards the eyes when you get the hang of it it'll be able to make it go though and stab the eye easiely (this is technically a bug but meh you gotta use what you have eh)
once you get the eyes to flop out of thir sockets they'll glitch through the goggles and get them selfs stuck on the front making it infinitely easyer to actually aim where you want to cut (about halfway between the "Seam" and where the muscles connect to the eyeball)
Stabbing the eyes - if you want to minimize bloodloss use a pencil or pen (pen will be a tiny bit of damage if you miss the eye but usually doesn't seems to cause bleeding - pencil is completely damage free)
if you're having trouble grabbing you tool back out of the eye after stabbing it try using the scissors instead - they seem alot easyer to grab since they have a bigger "handle" (also seems like they have a bigger cutting surface so slightly easyer to get in in the first place)
Removing the goggles - once good whack to the front of the goggles with the surgical axe usually does the trick if you hit it right otherwise use something sharp to cut the elastics on both side of the head (roughly a 3-4 cm long area just before they meet the goggles)
New eye balls - you can either stick them on something pointy like a pencil to make it easyer to get it near the eye socket or with a bit of pratice you can "throw" them in from the hand
the new eyeballs regardless of if you're holding them or have released them seem to keep abit of momentum so if you get abit of a running start and move towards the socket they'll pop in abit easyer then trying to rub them into the right area
thats all i got really - unfortunately i haven't manage to find an easy or consistant way to actually get the eyes out of the sockets once you've removed the tool from them - hitting him on the side of the head or on the cheek just below the eye seems to work well and if you're not holding a tool you don't risk doing any damage
