Help! "Fail to start game (unknown error)"

Getting this when ever i try to Start Black Ink, anyone know how to fix it? Tried quite a few things that normal fix this problem but nothing is working. :c

Thanks for the link, but sadly none of that helped.
I did find some thing out though, when i go into the place where BlackInk has downloaded (Steam/steamapps/common/Black Ink) and click the Black Ink App. It pops up this error saying "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the appliction event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more details"

Nolo9 : try to use Dependency walker[www.dependencywalker.com] instead and send us back at [e-mail] a snapshot of errors.

I have the exact same error, with steam and when you doubleclick on the .exe

GhostScar: most of the time it because Black Ink hasn't been correctly updated by Steam, so you need to re-install it OR because you have updated to Win 8.1 in this case look at this thread[forum.bleank.com]
