Stuck on eraser

As soon as I hover my pen over the surface of my tablet (a Huion H1060P) the brush is autimatically set to erase instead of draw. It works fine when i'm only using a mouse as long as I keep my pen far far away. The log entry is as follows :"Selected Brush = 'Eraser'" (This is only displayed once but it never stops erasing when selecting a different one)
The Option in the Stylus menu Erase with current brush stays always disabled and does not seem to have any effect if changed.
My other Tablet (a Wacom Intus Draw S) does not have this problem.
So far I've tried:
-Disabeling Windows Ink
-Reinstalling my Driver
-Deleting the eraser shortcuts
-Reinstalling the Demo (Yes I'm only using the Demo so far but would probably buy the software if this problem is out of my way)

I've just bought a H610PRO V2 and im having the same issues, as well as crashing on calibration and having to close with taskmanager, and some of the physical buttons for hot keys not working.

I have also tryed:

-removing:
C:\Windows\System32\Wintab32.dll
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Wintab32.dll

-going in to services, tablet PC Input service and setting start up type to: disabled

-reinstallling black ink and the huion drivers multiple times.

all the brushes work only as an eraser still.

hum strange... what are the information displayed in the Stylus Setting tab of Preferences ( Ctrl+Shift+P ) ?
What happen when you use the B shortcut ? or when you use the E shortcut ( select the Brush or the Eraser )

Stylus Settings Info before the pen ist brought close to the tablet:
Tablet Driver - Wintab 2.0
Stylus ID - Unknown
Eraser - False
Precise stylus Position is toggled on

As soon as the tablet detects the pen the following changes occur:
Stylus ID - 1
Eraser - true

When using the B then it is visually switched to the Airbrush and this is also displayed in the log. However it still won't let me draw. When I fill the Canvas black the brush can be used as an eraser. Pressing E now switches to the regular Eraser. This does not have any effect on the infos in the Stylus Settings.

Edit: I have about 2 hours left in the Demo so there is plenty of time for any tests.

Exactly the same thing thing for me too but its hapening in the full version.
In addtion the only buttons on my tablet that work are for, the brush, the eracer and the move tool but all the hot keys are correct. (but again i can only use brushes as an eraser)

Ok the problem come from how Black Ink detect that you have inverted your stylus ( with Wacom I receive a bit but with your H610PRO V2 this bit is probably incorrect ).
I see from this brochure[www.huiontablet.com] that you can switch the Brush with the button on the Pen.
How behave Black Ink when you press it ( more precisely is the Eraser state returns to false ? ).

R3flexor : don't worry if the demo is out of time you will still be able to access preferences etc..

okay so as soon as the pen comes in range of the tablet it swiches permantly from:

Tablet Driver - Wintab 2.0
Stylus ID - Unknown
Eraser - False

to:

Stylus ID - 1
Eraser - true

pressing the brush swich key on my pen changes between regular eraser, and a eraser version of what brush i have selected. the prefrance style settings dont change.
Stylus ID - 1
Eraser - true

Pressing this button results in opening the Log. I've already remapped it in the Tablets driver to "I". I suppose it would behave the same as in slick licks post from earlier today if it was still in its default settings.

Hey, if its is relevant for you guys i also work with Huion Tablets. (Huion DWH69, Kamvas Pro 22 V2)

For me it works like this:

The pen has got three states between which i can toggle:
brush
ereaser
Erase with the brush


After i open the Programm my default is "Erase with the brush".

Then i can toggle between the states with the thumb-button on the pen like that:
If i press it shortly it toggles just between ereaser and "Erase with the brush". To toggle to the brush i need to hold the thumb-button for longer (about 1-2 seconds?).
Also the pen "resets" to "Erase with the brush" with every change to the brush.

I have not ticked the stylus option "Erease with the current brush"

Its not ideal but it works. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
