Demo doesn't launch on Surface Book on latest windows 10 builds?
Hey guys,

So I'm just trying this for the first time today, and unfortunately this is what I'm running into. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the new creator's update version of windows 10 on the surface book, or what.

Basically the program launches, but then never is able to be brought to the front. I tried both the demo from your website and the demo via steam. In the alt-tab menu I can see some indication of the program being kinda open, but it never switches to it. No external display connected, no other peripherals.

I can kill the program and relaunch it, but the same thing just happens. With the version from your website I tried launching in compatibility mode for windows XP, I tried overriding the system scaling to set it to application, system, and system enhanced, and none made any difference.

Looks like a cool program, so this is disappointing. I'm guessing it's the bleeding edge version of windows that just rolled out, knock on wood.

have a look here[forum.bleank.com] for a quick dirty workaround.
That works, thanks! Incidentally, since I had never run the program before on my machine, it did not create the Config.xml file at all. Since I had to type it out by hand, here is what worked:

<HarmonyDocument Rootid="Obj0">
<WindowSettings id="Obj0">
<Pos>(0,0)</Pos>
<Size>(1000,720)</Size>
<Maximized>true</Maximized>
<Composited>false</Composited>
</WindowSettings>
</HarmonyDocument>

Side note: performance is terrible on a Surface Book (lowest model i5), although that's probably more to do with the hardware in question. But I don't know if the mode it's having to run in is a factor. I've run this on my Surface Pro 4 (highest model i7), which does not have the creator update (and which has better hardware), and it runs gloriously there, though.

I really enjoy this software, and expect to make a purchase. Full touch support (aka palm suppression) and support for High-DPI displays would be much appreciated, but neither are dealbreakers for my purposes.

Cheers!

Great !
The High-DPI is in our dev pipe. But I add +1 for your touch support ;)
Cheers. :)
