Another World 2 or Heart of the Alien Remake??

Is it possible the producers launch Another World 2 which was only released for SEGA-CD in 1994? I saw some videos and I really like to play the game.

It's unlikely to happen. And it wasn't really a great game and its story took awwayx from Another World rather than adding to it - it's best ignored, really.

I have it...I respectfully disagree with Purple Tentacle's assessment. I think it gave closure to the series and the ending was bold for the time.

Heart of the Alien feels much clunkier, the death cutscenes get old (and there isn't that many unique ones), and the story is a mess. The fact a lot of magazines and whatnot back in the day were confused as to whether it was a sequel, or playing Another World from your buddy's perspective, should give you an idea how bad the story was. Even if it didn't crap on Another World's story, it's still pretty badly done.

The game is pretty neat at some points. It was a commercial failure but that may be because it was only made for Sega CD. Review are ok (http://www.gamespot.com/heart-of-the-alien-out-of-this-world-parts-i-and/reviews/), but its not even listed on Metacritic. Mostly a pretty obscure title.

I'd give my left nut to see Heart of the Alien get the same treatment that Another World has on Steam. Yea it had some issues; this is the perfect time to fix them and highlight this wonderful little series.

I am of the belief that all game series should be complete and available through the same medium. Thus is the first one is on Steam, then the sequel should be as well.

I didn't own a Sega CD when it was out. Would like to play it just for the sake of completing the series.

its bad... i was hope that here is both parts... 1st part i play more times in youth, from start to end with about 8 minutes...) then, i use emul for 2nd game... Thanx to all authors)

I still own Heart of the Alien and play it frequently. It's a great continuation to the story and it's nice to play Buddy this time around.
