Can't fire after charged shot.

after I've fired a charged shot, the gun won't fire anymore. do I have to charge it in some way?

You need to save the charged shot for the one door that you have to destroy prior to reaching the first charging station. You don't really need the gun while it's dead, anyway. It's part of the intended game play.

I've already done what you said, but kept getting killed. so I thougth I'd done something wrong. thanks for the response.
