I managed to beat it this time complete with over 300 deaths lol. If you want to see it, the full playthrough is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOjm_WxKYVs&feature=share&list=PLRJiX7uTHqJ_iHF63-b8iH0TG0mbZnELg
Yes, Im being revisiting my childhood classics too, and I just realised that most of the games that we claimed to be harder or scarier was just our lack of experience/age at the moment (I was surprised of how easily I finished Severance: Edge of Darkness) and nostaliga doing the rest. Im reaaaally looking foward to play this gem with gamepad! I finished the 15th aniversary also. But its really not that hard, It just have long checkpoints zones.
Also, It was a surprise to me the lack of tension and puzzles in Resident Evil 2. Memory is a funny thing.

But thats not bad, its the opposite! It works perfectly with this game because thats what it is about. More like a puzzle game or something, its great.
