Emulating the Original Game

So, this may seem weird, but I have been playing my way through many of the important titles of video gaming in chronological order. I try to play the game as faithfully to the original game as I possibly can and do my best to get an official version that I pay for.

I notice that this can be played with original sound, but can I play with original graphics also? Basically, how close can I get this thing looking like the original and what settings do I have to change to get it there?

Any insights would be welcomed.

Yes. Actually IIRC there is also a ROM of the original game for Amiga if you want to use an emulator.

With DOXBox you can play the original PC version as well on nowaday machines. Works with other old titles as well, like Dune 1 / 2, Wing Commander 1-2, etc.

I see. I was hoping to avoid going the ROM route. That doesn't come with this purchase, right? As I said, I'm trying to go with an official way So, there isn't a way to turn off the enhanced graphics in the 20th Anniversary Edition? Or get them close to the original? I haven't played the original, so I don't know how it compares.
