How do I push the pushable block?

I've unlocke "Pushable block", but I can't seem to push it. Do I need to push it at a certain spot? Do I need to press the action button somehow?

Never mind. I found a sulution; use the keyboard or dirrectional pad instead of the analouge sticks on the controller. You'd think a game like this would be perfect with a controller, but aparently it isn't.

For anyone else who's having trouble using the keyboard to do this, you have to hold down the direction key for about 3 seconds :)

A year after, this still bugged, i search for everywhere some kind of button on the map for move that block -.-

wow, thanks. you saved me from quitting this game.
also i was reminded, the first time i have played minecraft, i knew that i had to get wood, but was unable too, because i never think about holding the mouse button (WTF?) or i am just impatient ;)
