Report a translation problem
1) Open your save game in Notepad (make a back up save first)
2) Search (Control + F) the file for the word "Clone", first result should be:
This code goes on for pages until you hit the next section, which is
3) Delete everything between those two commands, including the first "Clone" line. Don't leave any line breaks between where you deleted.
4) Save the file and launch
So to clarify:
The cloning code was what was corrupting our MP save. Deleting it solved it for us. Hope this helps you!
Sorry to res an old thread, but this reply should absolutely be more prominent. I can confirm that removing all the CloneRooms data from the save file solved our "Unable to Join" issues when joining multiplayer games. Thanks!
I understand it may be unrelated to OPs issue, but hopefully giving it some air time will help others who have a similar issue and might be googling for a fix.
