Cells not surrounded by doors/walls?

Started a new game tonight and made many cells like these. All are flashing that they've failed to be surrounded by walls and doors. I highlighted one room to show - as far as I understand it's all walled, except for one square where the door would slide into. A door occupies that square.

This is what i have encounter. You need to remove that part/square where the door located.

i have the same thing. but remove and replace the wall will not work. i cant make a prison without cell's :P hope for a fix.

Yeah, you can't zone the door. Same thing with Solitary cells.

i have a fix for it, put everything inside toilet bed doors and room, now seal the cell with a wall, put the wall where the door is plaaced after that remove that wall the door will be remove to then put another door and then your done no more cell need to be sorrounded

Open the rooms tab from the interface menu. Now right click on the single open space (entrance) of the cell to de-zone it.

Thank you Zourin and Frank! I didn't think about that, but will try it out now. Been having some trouble with the de-zoning tool.

Is it reasonable to suggest zoning doors and walls be added in the alpha/beta?

Why would you want the prisoner thinking that the door was part of his cell? Then the guard would come up to him in the middle of the night to open the door for him if he was awake and pacing. And how would they even access a walled off part of a room?

my one still dosnt work i dezoned the tileunder the floor and i put a solid wall where the door is and it still says that it isent surounded buy stuff, i have cells that i cloned that are the same as it and they work fine

in most cases you have zone the cell under a door.

or sometime the cell isnt diagonally enclosed.

Have draged over the whole room except under the door and not just clicked once in the middle of the room, cant see screenshot
