What do the colors running through power cables represent?
Just a quick question about what the green/yellow/grey colors represent when power is running through the lines. Thanks!

Those are just to help you keep track of your power grids. Don't let the colors connect. Grey on the other hand means unpowered I think.

Oh now I see, so the colors are just helping me to not do a shot circuit?

Dierampe: Assumedly. I am unsure of this yet, but from what I've experienced in-game, the degree of circuit power itself is assumed by the closer to lighter green or whatever you get in your circuit lines.. My best advice, as provided by those who have helped me, is to keep your power stations separate of one-another to avoid an outage. Simplest way to do it anyway.

Your workshops draw a lot of juice and will likely require their own substation. The short-circuit effect is likely deliberate by the developers (I know most builder games usually allow you to freely interconnect generators, so it's a bit of an unexpected twist for most)
