Trucks dont stop to drop off supplies/prisoners
So here is what happened, and i am pretty sure this is a bug- I had multiple prisons so far, all died from prsioners not delivering clothing. SO today i started another prison today but here is what happened - The trucks wouldnt drop off the supplies for the cooks/workers, so the cooks couldnt cook but the workers were somehow still getting there supplies to build. But when the prisoners came the truck just drove by again and didnt drop them off, so the prison wouldnt make any money. i am pretty confident that this is just a bug because the game is in alpha but i just want to let them know so they can fix it.

So even on a stock empty map, if you were to allow the prisoners to arrive without any buildings built and no zoning changes, they would not be delivered?

generally speaking delivery problems are due to either the delivery / garbage area being swapped, or prison design being such that trucks can't deliver anything and/or pathing has not been designed properly.

If you try a workshop prison does the same problem happen?

i havent tried a workshop prison, but yes on a stock empty map it did pass by, thiss happened to me twice. the 1st time i had not moved the delivery or garbage at all, the 2nd time i moved the delivery and garbage 1 to the left for an "enclosed prison". Im pretty sure it is just a bug, because in my old map i had 2 delivery spots and the trucks dropped them off at both. i am really just trying to help the developers fix the bugs, by pointing them out.

also, this has really been the first time it has happened to me, my first few prisons it didnt and now it has happened so that makes me think more that it is a bug

Hm. I wonder what might have changed where the trucks just keep on moving...do you have any mods installed?
I've had this problem appear a few times, too. I have no idea what causes it.

Glad I'm not the only one with this issue, I recently installed the "More Grants" mod and I thought that had caused it.

In relation to the earlier discussion, it may have something to moving the deliveries area, as that's what I did. I'll try re-making my prison with the mod installed and not move those first two areas and let you know how it does.

I have no mods installed, but as i said before this happened to me twice- the first time i dint move the pickup and garbage areas, the second time i moved it 1 to the left. Both times they passed. I recently started a new prison and now its not happening so its obviously a bug

Hm. Its a pity there isn't a more clear-cut cause of what sets it off.

If it happens again to anyone, I would e-mail the bad save to Introversion so they can test it on their own systems and debug into it properly.

well aslong as its not just me the developers are bound to find it eventually

You have to connect the delivery area to the road.

Delivery and Garbage need to be next to the road! They cannot be inside the prison!

I had a similar issue, because I chose to put Delivery and Garbage on the oposite side of the road... Simply leave them next to left side of the road.

I had the issue myself, what I did was actually surround the deliveries, garbage areas with walls placing a door. That meant a wall went around fully breaking the link to the sidewalk, so it wasn't linked anymore to the street which meant no trucks would ever stop.

I think if you really want for example to surround the deliveries area with walls what you ought to do is do a full around wall with a door and just remove a piece of it on the right side, the sidewalk side meaning that gap is linked to the sidewalk, then the guys will just use the door / the gap to put stuff inside.

I had this issue a couple times. Delivery area wasn't at the road, and another time I had walled that area off and had a cell door there. They just drove on by.
