Missing Cd-Key

I bought Prison Architect through steam, but I seem to be missing my cd-key. It didn't pop up when I launched the game, its not in my email and I cannot find it through right-clicking the game in my steam folder. I even tried to look through Regedit, but no luck.

Any insight will be much appreciated.

I have heard, that sometimes when Steam ran out of Cd-Keys for a certain game you don't get your code immediately. When they have new ones you will receive one for sure.

I found it at the Link in the E-Mail (The same Link where you downloaded the Game)

I didn't download it from an email link. I downloaded it just like normal through steam. The only email I have is the receipt for the purchase which does not contain neither a key nor a download link.

EDIT: I think the download link email thingy is for when you purchase directly from them and not through steam?

This is the other way around, they bought it on steam and are missing the cd-key.

And yeah it is possible Steam has ran out of keys for the time being, but hard to say.

Odd that the game starts up if they are out of keys. Weird. Ah well, I'll give it a day and if nothing shows up I'll just send an email to introversion to see if something went wrong. At least I can play it, just can't get into the fora or design my prisoner.

Oh and a friend of mine bought his AFTER I had bought mine and he can right click on his library and has a "Show CD Key" option which I don't. So no, they're not out of keys something else is a miss here..

We did have a problem with some Mac packages not being configured correctly, but I think that's been resolved now. If anyone still has the issue can you right click on PA in steam and fire a screenshot of the context menu (missing the CD Key option) to [e-mail]
