Cannot go fullscreen on 1080p?

If i turn off windowed mode it stretches to the screen but then remains windowed and cuts off the text at the bottom of the screen. I then cannot revert back as the windowed option stays stuck. I need help

C:\Users\{YOUR WINDOWS NAME}\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\preferences.txt
You should be able to change the settings in this file to fix your problem. If you really screw things up while changing this file you should be able to delete it and the game SHOULD make a new one.

Did not work sadly. When windowed is set to false the game comes up in a very small window, and when it is set to true the problem described above occurs

Well i play on 1920*1080 and have switched to windowed more then once without problem. Is 1080 you native resolution? What OS are you on? can you post the contents of you preferences.txt file here also please. Also have you tried to delete your preferance file so the game makes a new one?
