Mods problem

Hi there, i've got a problem with every mod. I subscribe to it in workshop, then go to game-extras-choose mod-click apply-creating new map. And... nothing at all. Am i just stupid and doing something wrong or it is not my fault?

Maybe the mods are for the older versions of the game? Make sure they are for the latest as older mods may not work.

N00b question but is there a guide to installing and using some of these mods - they look pretty fun. TIA.

I do not believe in 'Noob Questions' every person learns their own way and at their own time. Anyways, as I'm only new at the game, and I hardly use mods as non of them are interesting to me, I do not believe that their are guides as each mods works in their own, unigue way. The best thing to do it to search and read the mods discription before installing/subscribing.

'most' of the Prison Architect mods in the STEAM workshop are simply subscribe to them, then open the game, click menu, click extras, click mods, and check whatever mod, or mods, you want to run while playing. I have noticed that does not work with pre-built prisons for some reason, but has worked for all the other normal mods I have. I currently have, and use, 4.

I have not tried Going Postal. What does it do?

You add a working letter service to your prison - sending and receiving snail mail. I believe it's based on laundry. The mod has good descriptions and helpful steps. It then becomes a Need you have to monitor like all the others.
