Prisoners DOESN'T USE supermax cellblock!
I have 2 supermax prisoners and I marked one cell block with 4 cells as a supermax. But when schedule says "sleep or lockup" they go to Solitary. They don't go to supermax cell block. And in solitary they doesn't sleep (no bed), so they need sleep. Why aren't they using supermax cellblock?

Please link a screenshot of the Deployment for the solitary cells and the cell block you want them to actually go to please.

And is it maybe that the Supermax Prisoners are causing misconduct and are being sent to solitary as punishment?

When you hover over the prisoner icon in the top right (106 / 130) does it say something like 128 Shared, 2 Supermax?

It says "Maximum security: 104; Supermax: 2; SuperMax capacity: 4"

Zone other cell blocks as max security, they should have a red background (light red) not white, otherwise your super max cells will only be used if all of the shared cells are full.

I have the same problem. the prisoners don't go to there cell. bij lockup they go to solitary. anyone an idea?

That doesn't have to do with that the other cells are shared.
It is because of the new room quality feature from alpha 33.

Before A33, it worked as you intended, you build a cell block, you designate it as supermax and your guards then did put the supermax prisoners into their supermax cells.

Now, if you put all the luxury things into the supermax cells, so that they don't destroy their cell, you got High Quality Cells.
So your Supermax Prisoners need to stay quiet for a few days so they fulfill the requirement to get into these cells.

So either build a max security area with its own common room and chapel and so on or they'll probably never get into those cells because your supermax prisoners screw it up before they're qualified for those cells.

Just manually set the prisoner to the cells you want them in. Click on your prisoner, then left click the desired cells. 18tes is right about the cause, your prisoners don't deserve cells that nice yet so either make crappy cells or just do it manually
Do you realize this thread is 6 months old? :)
