Don't know why some rooms have no lighting even with the electric running through it with lights installed. power source is fine plenty of capacitator. can't even see some of the prisoners in the holding cell. Don't know if they intentionally do that or not or its just a bug

Are you sure it's the lighting and not just the Fog of War hiding visibility because you don't have a guard and/or CCTV in that room?

Yeah, probably fog of war. Click on a guard then right-click in one of those dark rooms. See what happens.

ok must be fog of war didn't know that. i thought if i built some lights then the room is lite. thanks guys

Is it a grey effect where you can't see anything inside except a few key objects? Does it light up when you send a guard or worker in? If so its fog of war, if you don't like it it is disablable. In the Save file is a line of code "EnabledVisibility true" remove this line to turn off FoW which will let you see all of your prison without requiring guards But FoW adds a more realistic feel to the game
