My showers arn't working...
So I'm new to the game so it might just be me being an idiot and missing something. So I built a shower room, put in the shower heads and put the water pipes through the walls. The pipes actually are installed yet most of the shower heads don't work due to lack of water...

I've checked over and over the pipes are all installed, they are attached to big pipes, I've even connected the small pipes to other pipes yet they don't get water... but there's a few here and there that have water... Is this a bug/glitch or am I missing something?

Also, whenever I start up the game I go instantly into a new game, is there no main menu aside from when pressing the escape button?

You have to place the pipes under the shower heads.. Make sure the small pipes arnt to far from the bigger pipes. The further the small pipes are from the big ones the less water will run thru them

You must place pipes UNDER the shower heads, not in the walls. Also for the menu issue, it is meant to be like that. You load in, play the game, no time wasted creating a new prison if you want to do a quick playthrough.

So the weird thing is that I have some shower heads working... but their inbetween ones that aren't... their all willy nilly... but thanks I'll try placing more big pipes... thankfully I'm doing this in sandbox mode to get a feel for the game, I'm only 45K in debt!

Goto the grants tab and get some grants to help fund it. You can get 2 for now and more as you complete them.

Yup I've been doing that, but again, I'm okay with wasting money, I'm just trying to get a hande on the ideas. I restarted and have a working prison (ish) and I'm only 1K in debt now haha.

Large pipes will carry water indefinitely, but if you put them next to cells prisoners can dig into them and escape easier. Smaller pipes are safer, but will only carry about 14 blocks or so (not sure of the exact number.)

Large pipe is 764 tiles, small is 40.
