how to hire teachers.

so i was wondering how to hire teachers. i would like to start some work around my prison. but i can not seem to get a teacher. i have a classroom and desks and even a office desk. but my prisoners still wont go to school and i dont have a teacher.

any help would be nice. =)

You need to schedual a 3 hour work block, and the program. The teachers will come on thier own.

how do i schedual a the program. all i can do in the regiem is put work.

He's talking about a 3 hour work block in the Regimen - they use that for all Training programs. Click on that section in the work schedule and it should offer you one of the Training programs. First though you need to have created a Classroom type room and done the Grants to get teaching going.

That's all you need to do in regime, to actually start a program you go to the programs tab in the reports window.

how long does it usually take to have teachers come to teach. just started a prison and have a classroom. but i did not see any of my prisoners go to class. i also did not see any teachers. i have the foundation education program. but when the work period started i did not see any of my prisoners go the classroom.

They usually show up one hour before the program starts and "prepare". When nobody is interested in the program, they'll just leave again. You might have just missed them.

there also has to be interest in the program for them to attend. NO matter how many desks you assign, if your inmates are feeling jerky, for various reasons ( needing alcohol treament, working in kitchen, gettinghigh on cleanign colvents, etc) they wont attend class).

But my biggest problem with getting inmates to attend is that they get released before they have any chance to complete the program. Takes ten days ( years) minimum? most my inmates are not sentanced to suffer my hospitality that long

i have 2 inmates that wish to attend. they missed the first 3 hour. i have a guard stationed in the classroom. but i did not see anybody go in to the class.?

I have 11 interested but none of gone to the class and have not seen a teacher come yet.

Make sure they can get to the room without escaping or going through a restricted area (e.g. staff only or different security rating to the prisoner/s)
