You need to have sufficient free time (in one solid block) in your regime for visitation to work...
That's not correct. Visitation and Parole are independent of the regime. Even prisoners in lockdown or Death Row get escorted to visitation. I've seen prisoners go to visitation during meal time, lockdown, etc.
If you've got a door locked open, it's likely an unsecure area where they aren't allowed to go.

Well to be fair work time is free time for those prisoners that have no job.
Oh ! Thanks ! I didn't figured it... I locked the visitation room access with a staff only area...
