What's your parole cutoff rate?
And what is your parole reoffending rate?

Mine is at 20% with a 5% reoffend rate (out of 211 prisoners that were released early).

Mine is at 30% and I don't know the reoffend rate, I didn't see anything like that.

AFAIK there is a report or tab on the clipboard that allows you to see this information. Not sure if it is still the same but last I checked if you click "Grading" tab you will see your overall prison rating.

First 25%, then started bringing it down to 10%-15%. After A30 money is even easier, no need to risk more reoffenders and losing more qualified prisoners just for the 3000£ bonus.

Since I have not yet setup parole in A30 (what with the mechanism being completely different to A29) I will tell the stats I had back then. My parole cutoff was 1% and I don't know what the reoffend rate was as I never checked it. The reason my parole cutoff was so low was that I wanted to give the hope of parole but since I disagree ENTIRELY with the idea of parole in real life I had the lowest possible setting while still giving hope. I had no prisoners released early on parole in a full year of in game time but I can't recall exactly how many parole hearing were run in that time.

I use to use 20% but I had an offender so went to 10%. Then had a few more offenders, so went to 8%. No offenders since. My reform rate is 7% and have early parolled 178 prisoners on my current 550 mix security prison.

I've noticed the re-offend rate commonly lands on 2%, 8%, 12% then it goes higher. Never seen 1%, 3-7%, 9-11%. The way it caculates rate seems to have it always fall on the same numbers.

25% with a 6% reoffending rate, but I'm bleeding 'qualified' prisoners so I may raise it. I have to have continuous intake to make up for the number of prisoners paroled.

10%, that way I rarly have re-offends. Most min sec prisioner have to serve out 75% of thier sentence that way, higher and it feels a little like a revolving door.

I go for 20%. My best rate was 97 released, 1 reoffend

My cutoff rate is 15%, and no one out of around 40 or so (can't think of the exact number of the top of my head) reoffended. Just been rolling in the cash every day ;)

My parole reoffend just dipped down to 4%. It seems to be gradually going down. Might raise the cutoff rate to increase profit, even if I don't actually need more money.

i have a parole cutoff rate off 33%, didnt set anything to it.

Reoffending rate whole prison 12% (394 released)
Paroled early 257 (7% reoffending rate)
Parole passing quote 86%

seems to be okay.

@duck brigade.

i just look, i have one with an reoffending rate of 11% just in parole.

Grading of him:
punishment 5,
reform 7,
security 2,
health -1

General grading of my prison:

Punishment 6,
Reform 7,
security 2,
health 1.

had build up this prison for low security. and running lots of reform programs. Its more a rehabilation prison, then a punishment prison. im at the moment at day 44 and building my 4th cell block up, at the moment im holding just a bit above 300 prisoner, with a constant flow in of 15 prisoners a day.

I set mine at 28%. So far, no reoffendees.

Tip: Put an Armed Guard and a Guard in the parole room so that the prisoner won't "hit" the personell and be supressed.
Trixi Mar 8, 2015 @ 4:45am
this is to expensive, cause i have 8 parole rooms so far
Divine Mar 8, 2015 @ 7:08am
