How do i get my prisnors unshackled??

they are complaining about being shackled in thier cells.. how do i get them unshackled??

your prison is not secure. If your prisoners have free access to the edge of the map the gaurds will not allow them out of thier cell. Find the week spot in your prison and fix it

ok thank you ill see how this goes .. also some of my rooms are grey and and the people wont go in there.. if so they disapears and shows back up when they come out... how do i fix that?

adding doors and walls, and buy doors I mean any door that leads to the outside should be either staff or jail.

The grey is "fog of war" which means none of your guards have direct eyes on that space - or they haven't walked through there in awhile. Once you research Deployment you won't have so much grey - rest assured there are people in those rooms, you just can't see them.

If you don't like having FoW running you can disable it at the creation of a new map. IDK if you can disable it for an existing game or not.

i tried .. i fenced the whole place up! and some are still shackled .. they cant esacpe! lol but still in hand cuffs ..

i build a wall around the prison and put a door in the front but they are still in their cells... getting mad :(

Im 100% sure you have no (or not enough) solitarys in your prison.

That may be the problem.

in the top left had corner noe it ells you how many inmates are awaiting solitary and theit punishment doesnt start ticking down til theyre in a solitary cell.

f12 takes a screenshot and then you copy and paste the screenshot from your Steam profile to the forum post.

I have the same issue, I think this is a bug, as I also have prisoners who stay in shackles in the cantine. And some in solitary are not 'freed' by the guards. I only got this after the last update.
