Other Games Like Prison Architect?

I can personally recommend:

Theme Park
Rollercoaster Tycoon series
Railroad Tycoon series
Tropico series
Dwarf Fortress
Dungeon Keeper series
Evil Genius
Startopia

These are all excellent games similar in their 'building and managing' natures to Prison Architect. Have played them all, recommend each one on it's own merits. Evil Genius in particular is fantastic - design and build the underground lair of an Evil Genius, and defend against attacks from enemy intelligence agencies.

That's why that user is quoted throughout this thread despite him having deleted his posts like he deleted his thread. Nope, the first time I suggested you try google. Then I suggested you search the forum, and came up with a thread that already exists. Then I listed all the games in that thread, plus a couple more.

I was there, watched it all, saw it all, can confirm what happened :/ if you don't like the suggestions, just say so, maybe someone knows of others. Personally I love anything Tycoon, Evil Genius, and most games with 'sim' in the name.

Tropico is great, but I find in the long term it gets a bit samey. But it takes a long time to get to that point, I've poured days at a time into building my little banana republic before getting bored :D

Sim City 4 is also a fantastic game, and it just got properly re-released for Macs too. Been a long time coming, that!

Yeah, I got my eye on Tropico. They look like they like to milk dlcs though. Prob won't buy untill sale so I can get all the content cheap.

I found Sim CIty 4 disc again the other day, should totally stream that some time, I miss Sim City :( Haven't got into Tropico yet. Picked up Tropico...4? in the humble bundle, was too tired to really dig into it, and haven't got back around to it.

Like on the Snes, that was my first Sim CIty <3 went back to it a few years back, sooooo easy compaired to Sim City 2000 and 4 XD

SC4 pretty much nailed it. I spent aaaaages getting a legit Windows copy working on my Mac the month before Aspyr re--released it properly on the Mac, don't regret it though. It had proper multi-region systems way before SC5 came along and forced us all to play online. Also, the regions in SC4 are HUGE, you can build actual cities in each one, not just tiny towns...

I want to love that game but it turns out I just don't have the patience to learn it and build up my buisness the way you're meant to.
