This game vs Prison Tycoon games

I see there are other prison games on Steam, Prison Tycoon 3 and 4, and they look much better than this one. Is this game having a better gameplay than those? If you have to compare this game with another one as gameplay, which one would it be?

I can promise you the gameplay on Prison Architect is far more superior than the Tycoon games. Not everyone loves the art style but if you look past it then you will have a very enjoyable time on PA over the Tycoon games.

You're just saying that because they're 3D, aren't you? Prison Architect has far more depth and and is more fun in general.

Even good old games like Theme Hospital looks better than this, visually speaking, so I'd say it's a valid criteria. Then there are other criterias of course.

I have Prison Tycoon 3 and I've barely played it, I don't know why but it just doesn't sit right with me and I just bought this! I can already tell I much prefer this over Prison Tycoon, the graphics look a little more childish and I thought it would annoy me but it actually fits well with the game.
Overall I think this has a better feel, it gives you more detail about prisoners and more depth in general, but I suppose it's down to personal taste!
