How does it works? I have Psycologist in his office, 2 in queue but no one goes for therapy...

I fixed it. The Psycologist office was selected as Deployemet "staff only" for cleaning... now it works... My fault XD

I'm having the same problem, I have extra chairs in the psychologist's office, it's not a staff only area, I've even taken away the staff only door, and there still seems to be a queue that doesn't go down, but with the words "ALL ROOMS BOOKED"

If you don't have enough work time, or you don't have a psychologist's office, it will say All Rooms Booked.

Caravaggio I think it's for prisoners who commit violent incidents inside your prison. So don't worry, having no prisoners in queue for this program is not a bad thing (au contraire).

Violence is crushed in my minimul.Medium security prison if i have armed guards weapons free first sign of touble. (well i did that in a P.O.W mod seems about right)

I have a psychologists office, I have 5 extra chairs, I have 2 sets of 3 hours work time assigned, it's shared deployment not staff only, I still get all rooms booked. I'm not sure what else there is??

Does your psychologist also working on Alcoholics group therapy?
If so, hire another psychologist.

You only need one extra chair. Behavioral therapy is 1 on 1.
The psychologist also runs the AA meetings, so you'll get a Booked message if there's a conflict. Either schedule more Work time (1 hour per B.T. session) or hire another psychologist.

I have all the requirements met as stated above with 6 people qued for therapy but the psychologist won't run the session. he's free, in an office with an extra chair, shared space..

I think that maybe there should be a new room category for psychatrist's office. That way, it could tell you you need extra chairs (I didn't know about that until reading this thread), and then it'd be planned for. : /

Yeeeeah! I solved this! From version 27 you can edit shedule by yourself. In it you can see all rooms for programs you can use. For each room you must start new program. Just left click on emty space under room you want to use and choose program you need. The first picture is just example for psychologist.

P.S. There is no need in many chairs. In this program psychologist is alone with prisoner. So one cabinet=one prisoner at once. So, there are two chairs is enough.

P.P.S. You will pay for EACH program you run. If we take my situation on (1) picture above, there are 3 Beahavioral therapy, 3 cabinets. So I pay 200$ per session 3 times.
100 rooms=100x200$ etc.

Bumping this in case anyone hits the same snag I just did. The above advice is correct - you need one psychiatrist per session, so if you have AA and behavioural therapy at the same time, you will need 2 psychiatrists.

You also need to make sure the office for behavioural therapy is not staff only.

But there is a final caveat: you need to help the game assign the RIGHT psychiatrist to the RIGHT session.

In my case, I had a psychiatrist who was already holding the AA meeting with a staff only office. Not a problem, as the session is in the shared common room.

I added another office, hired another psychiatrist and started the behavioural therapy program as well. The session was originally scheduled for the morning, but that is when my minimum security prisoners are working, and they don't really have violent urges, so the session is wasted on them. The minute I tried to reschedule the session for the same work slot as the AA meeting - when my medium and maximum security prisoners can attend - I got the message "NO TEACHER" in the schedule.

After much wailing and gnashing of teeth and trying random things, I fixed this by first cancelling the AA meeting. This freed up both psychiatrists - the one with the staff only office and the one without. Then started the behaviour therapy first. I could then move the session freely to the later time slot. Once I had set the slot for behavioural therapy, I started the AA meeting as well and set its time slot too. No problems doing it this way.

My assumption is that the game got confused and assigned the psychiatrist with the shared office to the AA meeting for some reason, which prevented me rescheduling behavioural therapy - bacause there's no psychiatrist (NO TEACHER) with a shared office available in this case. It's the only explanation that makes sense, because the meeting rooms etc. were the same, I only changed the times.
