Cell block search.
I've got my first Cell Block up and running and every cell has a prisoner. I want to search all cells at the same time. I click on "search cell block" but it searches the prisoners in the cell block, not the cells. Is this right? and if so, is there a way to search all cells?

Note: I don't want to use "shakedown" as I don't want the danger that comes with it.

There is a way. "Search Cell Block" will search the entire prison cell, and the prisoners in them (if they're inside the cell at the time.)
If you don't want the prisoners to be searched, wait until meal time or yard time. IF you do want them searched, search right before sleeping ends. I find it's a good way to wake them up.

Although be warned, searching them without reason will make them mad.
A good way to avoid this penalty is placing guard dogs and metal detectors to detect any contraband. They don't get mad if they know they've done something wrong.

Additionally, you can change your prison policy to search the prisoner and his cell after every minor incident. That'd help reduce contraband without pissing off the prisoners with "unnecessary" searches ;)

I figured it out, I was clicking a prisoner then "search cell block" but if I do it by clicking like the toilet, it searches the cells too. I do it before they sleep and wake up. I have dogs too..
