Report a translation problem
If you don't want the prisoners to be searched, wait until meal time or yard time. IF you do want them searched, search right before sleeping ends. I find it's a good way to wake them up.
Although be warned, searching them without reason will make them mad.
A good way to avoid this penalty is placing guard dogs and metal detectors to detect any contraband. They don't get mad if they know they've done something wrong.
Additionally, you can change your prison policy to search the prisoner and his cell after every minor incident. That'd help reduce contraband without pissing off the prisoners with "unnecessary" searches ;)
