Cell Design with private shower

I've always gone with the design that gives them a private shower in their cell. But that doesn't seem to work after alpha 16 / 17, I get the "Enclosed: Surrounded by walls and doors" error. Any way to work around this? Because if I don't put down the shower room, they wont shower.

yes they will i put my showers in the yard

I was able to do this in Alpha 16.
I launched my prison in Alpha 17, and it worked just fine.

That is weird, Metroidude, I use more or less the same design as you. But it wont work here. I get the error.

just place a shower head in a cell and put a drain in the same place as the celldoor
dont use the 'shower' room type, this works just fine

Yes it will. But it also prevents the "shower" regime item from being properly used on the other prisoners.

I never even use the shower regime
most of the prisoners seem to wake up at 8 aclock so i just put 'freetime regime' from 7am till 9am and they will take a shower inside there own cell before they go outside wich helps alot with riots.

quite possibly, doesnt seem to take account of the facing of many items.

I always put showers in my cells just dont use the "shower tile" and they use them but I also add a room in the "yard" with both shower and toilets so when I wake them with the "yard time" in the morn they get both yard/shower/bathroom time in the same block before WORK!!! WOOhahaha (evil laugh)

I use a similar setup as posted by Metroidude above but I have mine flipped round the toher way. this allows the cells to be isolated but the shoers are right out the door & work perfectly with a dedicated shower time. :)

This is from on older alpha but the cell design should still work pefectly.
