Prisoners wont go to kitchen safety and hygiene program
I have the cookers and cooks for them, but none of them are attending even though they're not suppressed or anything :/

Are any interested? Have you scheduled enough work time? Have you scheduled the program? Is the kitchen zoned for all prisoner types?

These are basic things you could have found by searching.

They're interested, I scheduled 2 blocks of 3 hour work times, I sheduled it, it says they're in the program, they just won't go to the program

Sounds like a zoning issue then. Can your prisoners get through the doors to your kitchen? Is the room zoned for all prisoners?

I'd agree with Chalked, sounds like a wrong Deployment type to me too. Maybe you've set it to Staff-only or minimum when your prisoners are medium, for example.

Are you using staff doors to enter the kitchen?

As ever, a screenshot would answer almost all our questions with just one post.

So I tried taking screenshots. One prisoner was working in the kitchen during the session, but the other prisoners in the program are cruising around in other places. I'm not using staff doors and the area is shared.
Maybe they just don't feel like going. What's your 'suppression' like? Also, wow, that's a lot of hobs to feed just 100 inmates! I usually manage fine with maybe 6 for 100 inmates...
Also, I'm not sure, but are the numbers of inmates working in the kitchen affected by how many cooks you already have, and how much food you actually need to make?

I was going to let in more prisoners eventually :P
the prisoners aren't suppressed that much and it's happened on another prison that I had. I feel like it's a glitch but I don't see anyone else with that problem. The guy working in the kitchen is just cleaning

I'm having the same problem with you fwiw, and there's no reason for them not to go in. I had another problem with cleaning jobs, whereby if you have a forestry zoned inmates won't do cleaning jobs, so there's something funky going on.

Your cookers are placed with their fronts facing to the left so prisoners don't have access to them.

Omg thanks so much! I didn't even know there was a front for the cookers OTL
They're very happy in their reform program now :D

Wow, I've been trying to figure out what's been going on with that program in my game for hours now, and it's just because the stupid cookers were the wrong way :///

Damn! The solutions so simple, i've been trying since yesterday to make the lil buggers goto that class, it'd say starting but no one would show.

If the cookers are the wrong way around for the prisoners how come the cooks don't have trouble?

I turned all mine around and now everythings fine thanks! :ss13ok:
