Cant assign workers to Workshop?

As title states, I cant assign prisoners to work in my workshop?
My laundry and my cleaning room works fine. s:

you have to send them thourgh a class thourgh programming but i think there is a bug because i get all rooms booked when i try to schedule them for the safty class

You should not include the door as workshop.
Dezone the door, and then you can ask foreman to train your prisoners (if they are interested) in the programs tab in your reports.

Have you researched Prison Labor and Deployment?
Also, rezone your workshop. Don't include the walls - just the interior.

You also might want to dump the carpenter benches. It's going to be some time before you can make superior beds and you'll just hang on to any cut wood and not sell it if you have any carpenter tables anywhere in your prison (even dismantled in storage).

Oh, and thats the only program that I get the "all rooms booked" "warning" with

Offices have nothing to do with Programs, except Behavioral Therapy.

Did you rezone your workshop? If you don't report what you're tried, we're going to go in circles.

Yes, I tried to rezone the workshop and tear the whole thing down and build it another place.

As far as i can tell the door isnt "zoned" and i can't rezone it if i try to either.
I tried removing the 1x1 area above the door, didnt work either.

Nevermind, I just got it to work. By repeating the dezoning / rezoning!

Did you put enough hours of Work time in your regime? All programs require Work time, and they tell you exactly how much they need on their tooltip.
