What is the sq foot per "sqaure"

what does each "sqaure" on the map refer to in terms of foot or yards?

beds are usually what 6 long? They take up 2 squares so each square would be around a 3x3...

Well, the default measurement for the game is in meters, each square is one meter in length, so you can get out your calculator if you want to translate it into Imperial units. Just off the back of a napkin, a meter is about 1.1 of a yard so one square meter is what, something like eleven square feet?
