If it says you have insufficient power, then yes you do need some. Turning it on takes a lot of power.

The electric chair will consume the power of two capacitors by itself. You need to put some capacitors around your power station.

I have this too I have a generator with 8 capacitors solely connected to the chair and still insufficient power
