You might want to consider overlapping the coverage for cameras, as not every monitor is manned every moment in your prison.
As for overlapping, suppose you have Security Office 1 monitoring cameras 1-8. You might have Security Office 2 monitor cameras 5-12. And Secutity Office 3 monitoring 9-16, and so on. That way, you're likely to have have an officer on the monitor when ♥♥♥♥ goes down.
