What should stop the warden from putting them in solitary forever or just execute them on the spot?
With that comes it's numerous issues, such as the player not having to commit to the regime, incapable of using any system besides combat and digging, etc. Escape Mode would need even more work than it already needs, it's simply too much for the dev's to do *currently*. For instance would Security Guards get rehired for free if a player criminal killed them? Do they count for fail conditions?
That being said, I really want such a feature. It's fun forcing players to tolerate an uber badass capable of starting wide scale fights.
If the player had group members then the warden would be focusing on the wrong person, especially if the Warden isin't immediatly notified on who the player prisoner is. Sure he could look for the guys that are extremely everything and permemnantly incarcerate them but what if the player has a few group members that happen to be stock!? There becomes a point where the fights still happen and the warden is spending more time trying to punish the problem than actually solving the problem.
Secondly, since inmates typically come in groups you *could* just permenantly incercerate every single midsec you get but not only is that unethical it's also not always going to work (Especially if it becomes so that players can be of any security level)
