Campaign mission 2 bugged?
I can't seem to pass one reqiurement, which is "create a meeting place made up of 8 chairs" as a part of Alcoholics group therapy. I can start the therapy just fine, and the task gets crossed out, but the requirement stated above is NOT crossed out. I have passed all other mission criteria, and the campaign does not progress. I have tried removing the chairs and placing them again, I have tried removing the common room designation (which invalidates the group therapy task), but when I again assigns the room as a common area, the requirement of 8 chairs is still not crossed out.

In one common room I crammed 16 chairs, but to no avail. I did try to put exactly 8 chairs in the room, but nothing happened then either.

Am I missing something here?

Same here (also the removing, starting over again etc).
They do start the meetings though but that 'todo' just never clears.

So yea, help?

I created a common room earlier with pool tables to satisfy the optional boredom thing. When I created a common room for the AA meetings it didn't satisy the 8 chairs requirement, so I just put 10 chairs in the first common room with the pool tables and it worked.

i had no issues here...i didnt make a diffrent building though.i used some of the empty space in a pre built building to make it.no issues.worse comes to worse try that?

I have at least 8 chairs in at least 6 buildings now. Some are premade, some are new. Some rooms are common rooms, some are not rooms but part of prison blocks. It simply does not work.

Not making a seperate common room but just designating some space inside one of the pre built buildings solved it.
rue057's "solution" worked. Thanks for replying.

(seems like somewhat of an oversight/bug)

If you've got multiple common rooms, the gamet will only be looking at a certain one for 8 chairs, if that one room it doesn't have them it doesn't get crossed of even if the other common room/s meets the requirment.

At least, for me that was the problem. I removed the common room that it was checking for which I didn't set up to have 8 chairs, it then looked for an alternative one and found the one which was set up.

It does not work for me, anyway. I used two different premade buildnings, and designated a spece as common room and placed 8 chairs there. Not. Working.

EDIT: Ok, I got this to work by removing the new common rooms (which all had 8 chairs). Then the game apparently checked one of the other common rooms, situated in an existing building, and that passed the test.

The developers should fix this, because I still think it is a bug. At least hint that you should use an existing building. I mean, you have already made two new buildnings, so it is not undeasonable to assume players make a new building for the AA meeting, thus triggering this bug.

EDIT 2: Thanks for your help, especially Some1xx.

I created new seperate rooms and assigned them as common rooms. One of them was fairly small and i only put a few chairs in, the game was only looking at that room and said i didn't have enough chairs when there was 8 in my larger room. I only needed to remove the small room and it then saw the 8 chairs, crossed them off the list and I was done with it.
